Its the Durga Puja .... finally .. arrived .... after long waiting ... anyways, this year may be my schedule's a little too packed up ... like .. I have to go out with
my Choto Mashi, then with my chandernagore Friends .. then with my good old .... school friends, that is, the Chinsurah friends ... then there's the Hostel friends
...and the local firends then with my family .... so I don't know how I'm going to manage all these things .....
anyways ... as usual .. First call- Nibadita ... to know what's in her schedule ...she previously said that she was planning for a family outing to kolkata ... with
her family and mine ...on SASHTI...but ... she said she dont know anything ... what a joke ... it's her schedule and she don't know it ... so I got a little mad at her
and told .. verry well .. ok bye .. as you dont know anything .... then hung up the phone ...
A little later again called her ... then .. she told .. that she had a full packed up schedule .... and also . I'm not included in the plans .... so got a little
depressed ... but nothing I can do ... its her plan ....
So as per my plans ... I had PANCHAMI planned with Choto Mashi . to Kolkata and return on SASHTI... SAPTAMI with college friends ... to kolkata .... then ASHTAMI at
the home with family ..... then NABAMI with hostel friends another group then DASHAMI locality with the local Puja ... at the immersion procession ...
then again .. I planned with the chinsurah friends on SHASTI... but later came to know from mashi that we'll be returning on SASHTI evening .. so I had to cancell one
... toh .. I cancelled the kolkata tour ... called Nibadita again .. just usual chats to know if she had any days left to be planned so that I may fit in ..... but ...
she had a tight schedule ... again got depressed ... ha ha ....... later that night got an sms from her saying that if her father returns before CHATHURTHI then there
may be some hope .... then her father returned on CHATHURTHI midnight .. toh ofcourse PANCHAMI's not an option ... and she had plans for SASHTI and all the days
afterwards ..... and even in PANCHAMI she had to go with Rahul to buy him a dress....no time.... toh .. later that night got an sms from her saying that we may go ...
she will finally tell me tomorrow that is the PANCHAMI ... ok toh .... then ... everything got finalised .... She, Me, her father and my mom's going to kolkata ... on
SASHTI ... well I was really happy that day ... ha ha ..... then ..
The next day ... they were at my house at about 10 am .... went to Kolkata .... nobody knows any distinctive route ... took Buron Mashi from her house ... and went out
... for the Pujas ..... We might not have seen that many Puja Pandals that day .. but enjoyed verry much ....went to city .. Me and Nibadita planning on some photo
shoots there ...but lack of time... he he ..then .. had lunch at the city centre roof top cafeteria ... then ...again went on for our route ..... well the funniest
part was that everytime the Maruti got stuck in amy traffic jam .. everybody got out of the car and started walking .... then .... is there's any pandal on the way ..
then its well and good .. other wise walked and waited ... a few distance appart for the congestion to be thinned out .. then again .. got back into the car ..... ha
ha ... well Next day I had plans with my hostel friends ... so stayed at Mudiali ...everybody else returned home ....
toh lyk the next day .... I was at Mudiali ... the closest location to the place planned for the meet .. toh .. I started off at 10.25 since we planned at 10.30 toh
arrived at 10.40 ... then again ..waited .. for a while .. called Rohan twice ... he arrived nearly at 11.... then called everybody else to know they're stuck in a jam
... and will be verry late .... waited ... saw the 2 or 3 nearby pandals .... then .. Shreemoyee said .. she's up close ... and waited .. and along with her planned to
go to Rohan's house .... saw 6-7 pandals on the way ...well then chatted in Rohans .. AC room .. he he .. then .. everybody else came at around 12.00 .. then started
off at 1.00 pm ... then saw a few pujas ... the ones we've already visited .... he he .... then ...again went to the mudiali side .... my battery's low .. actually .
.not mine .. the phone's ... he he exchanged my phone with Mama's ...how nice of him to give me his phone .. just asking him only once ... he he .... then carried on
... then went to find a suitable place for lunch .. everything's packed up ..... then ..rain started to add up to the problems .... then atlast found a place ... sat
there .... took the menu cards ...saw the price .... drank the water there .. then ... got out ..and to another hotel ...ha ha ..... well had lunch ..... outside ..
raining heavily ....waited a while ... no signs for slowing down .. planned for a gossip at Rohan's house .... took a cab ... on the way rain stopped ... got out of
the taxi .. and started the journey again ... haha .... then .... bought some blow horns from the road side vendors .....had great fun there teasing peoples ....ha ha
... then ... again went to the Garia Haat side ... Stood in a verry verry long queue at Jodhpur Park .... then Rohan called one of his friend ... and .. then .... we
entered through the VIP entry ... ha ha .... well ....saw pretty many pujas .... then ..... returning to the bus stand to again return to Kalighat .... on the way ...
met my Mashi and Mesho .... got 100 rupees from Mesho .. hah ha ha ..... well returned to Mudiali at about 10.10 pm ...almost 12 hours of fun .. ha ha .. then returned
home with Dadabhai ....via the last train from Howrah ..... he he ... reached home at about 12.45 pm ...... enjoyed very much .....
Well the next day was ashtami ... woke up at about 9.30 am .... time for the Anjali .... hurriedly took a shower got dressed up and gave the Anjali to the Thakur ...
then returned home .. planning for some little naps ..... well .... my brother arrived, perhaps to give mom a bag or something.... I asked him if he wants to go see
the nearby pandals .... he agreed .. I took out the bike ...and we visited 3-4 pujas in Bhadreswar. Then at noon, there is arranged a grand feast ...by our puja
authorites .... toh ....had my lunch there ... then went our park .... sat with the friends and chatted a little .... then that day .... I had planned with Anirban to
visit Chinsurah ... I started off at bout 5.00 pm ... then went to the bus stand ... took the Bus .... on the half way to chinsurah ... I remembered that I had taken
along the house keys .... called dad .... got off from the bus .... waited as dad came to take the keys .... saw 2 empty busses passby as I was waiting ... well waited
more and more .... no buss .... at last took a auto .. that will go only half the path .... again waited for another auto or something else .... nothing was there ....
at last a bus came ..... full packed up ... overcrowded ..... and that will also... go to quite a few distance as there is a No entry due to the Pujas ... well got
into that .... reached the spot .... then the Conductor informed that there is no No entry still and the bus can go further..... he he ...well ... got a seat by the
window ..and realxed ..... went to Anirban's house ..then planned to took Joydeep from his house and then Manisit .... met Sudeshna in her local Puja pandal ... she
was totaly devoted to the puja .... doing all the Aarti stuffs ... ha ha .... lost her shoes in the crowd .. later got them atlast ... offered her to come along us
.... she agreed ..but planning to take along some other girl .... well .. some thing went wrong .. and she didn't came with us ..... the plan went on as planned
earlier ...... met everybody ..... saw a few puja pandals .... and the rest just glimpsed from outside as there were nearly a few hundreds of people standing in the
queue to enter there ... ha ha ..... toh ... took pictures from outside ...... then returned ...... I was planning to return home .... but Anirban's mom proposed to
stay there ....well . I also thought that .. ok .. It Will Be Fun ... so stayed there ...... had dinner .... then played the good old TV Video Game .... ha ha ....
Contra 6 ........ then Anirban had free vodafone minutes .... so called Nibadita in her docomo and told her to give me a missed call from any Vodafone number she had
around .... ha ha .... well chatted for sometime .... verry brief discussion .... he he .... she told me that she had to take my camera ..as her's was disturbing for
quite sometime .... well ..said that next day on my way home .. I'll pick her up from her house ....
Next day ,.. NABAMI .... had breakfast at Anirban's house ... went to Nibadita's house ... but forgot to inform her that I was coming ..... well she was not ready ....
I waited at her home .... gossipped .... then she got ready and atlast returned home .... she was asking me to take lunch at their house ..but I had planned to go to
Kolkata with my hostel friends that evening .. and that was also a whole night plan .... so dont wanna miss that .... took her home ... and instead asked her to take
lunch at my house .... so .... that didn't happened either as it was their family tradition to lunch at their own house with the Prasad .... toh took her in my bike
...dropped her at the bus stand ...... returned home .... well naturally all there stuffs made me verry tired ...toh called the friends ... and cancelled my trip to
Kolkata .... and planned to just sit and enjoy the local Natok show in our Park organised by the club members .... so .. sat with my friend and enjoyed ....
DASHAMI ... the long waited puja's finally over .... but unlike everybody else .. I don't think that the Puja ended quite sooner or like the puja days .. ar quite
shorter .... nopes .... I had enjoyment and the days were quite long for me ... did a whole lot of stuffs ... ha ha .... toh this day ...the last .... Mornings nothing
special .... spent at home .... then ..... in the afternoon ... went to a neighbours house .... to make Siddhi ... well quite and experince ..... ha ha .... that milk
like thing contains a whole lot of ingredients .... all pasted to a syrup ....

then there was the Copper Dust and Bronze Dust mixxed with water little like a paste
at last the Siddhi Leaves ... for the intoxication ...
and the Bhang goli for increasing that even more .... ha ha
well made the Siddhi from start to end ..... but didn't even tasted one drop .... he he .... then there was the procession for immersion ... ha ha .. I too danced to
the Dhak Tunes .. a little bit this year ..... other wise I never dance .... then saw everybody doing the Matal stuffs .... ha ha .... some of them got knocked out and
everybody sprinkled water in their faces .... ha ha ..... then watched the immersion of the Goddess ..... then returned home by the Lorry ..... had the Bijoya sweet ..
Rasogolla from the Puja Comittee .... and returned home .....
well the Puja's over for this Year ....
